As of the 1st January 2012 the centre will be closed for staff training every Monday, the closure will affect viewings only as the centre shop in the reception building will remain open and pre-arranged adoptions will also take place.   Staff training however will not take place on Bank Holiday Mondays  therefore, the centre will be open as normal for viewings.

2012 SYAC Calenders are now available. Calenders can be purchased at the South Yorkshire Animal Centre, The Charity Shops at Rossington or Rotherham, or by post. Calenders – £2.50 (+ post & Package if applicable).

The South Yorkshire Animal Centre are currently looking for fosterers, we need people in the Doncaster and Rotherham that would be willing to foster cats and kittens that are too young to be rehomed.
To become a fosterer you would need to have a spare room that you can use to keep the cats seperate from the rest of the household, also be able to travel to the centre for vet visits and routine checks.

The centre is currently looking for volunteer drivers who are flexible and able to volunteer at the centre Monday – Friday.
Applicants must be over 25 years of age and have a full clean driving license.
