We are holding our Easter Fayre here at the centre on the Sunday 8th April, 11.00am-4.00pm.
Easter Egg Hunt and Raffle to be held on the day.
Everyone is welcome the stalls include:

Tombola
Bric-a-brac
RSPCA products
Refreshments.

As of the 1st January 2012 the centre will be closed for staff training every Monday, the closure will affect viewings only as the centre shop in the reception building will remain open and pre-arranged adoptions will also take place. Staff training however will not take place on Bank Holiday Mondays therefore, the centre will be open as normal for viewings.

The South Yorkshire Animal Centre are currently looking for fosterers, we need people in the Doncaster and Rotherham that would be willing to foster cats and kittens that are too young to be rehomed.
To become a fosterer you would need to have a spare room that you can use to keep the cats seperate from the rest of the household, also be able to travel to the centre for vet visits and routine checks.

Volunteer Drivers Needed!!!

The centre is currently looking for volunteer drivers who are flexible and able to volunteer at the centre Monday – Friday.
Applicants must be over 25 years of age and have a full clean driving license.

Dog show 2010

On the 13th June we held our annual open day at the South Yorkshire Animal Centre, it was a fun packed family day out with many stalls and attractions. The show was opened by Britains Got Talent Duo ‘2 Grand’. On show day we also had microchipping at a special price of £8 per dog which proved to be very successful. The final total that was raised for the day was £1851.81, we would like to take this opportunity to thank every one that was involved in the days proceedings, a special thanks also goes out to those who gave up thier free time to assist.
