Easter Fayre

We are holding our Easter Fayre here at the centre on the Sunday 8th April, 11.00am-4.00pm.
Easter Egg Hunt and Raffle to be held on the day.

Everyone is welcome the stalls include:

Cakes
Tombola
Bric-a-brac
RSPCA products
Refreshments.

CHANGE TO CENTRE OPENING TIMES

As of the 1st January 2012 the centre will be closed for staff training every Monday, the closure will affect viewings only as the centre shop in the reception building will remain open and pre-arranged adoptions will also take place. Staff training however will not take place on Bank Holiday Mondays therefore, the centre will be open as normal for viewings.

Big Sam

Big Sam is one of our more distinguished gentlemen at the centre, he is a lovely cuddly fella and would be a brilliant addition to any family. We would reccommend that Big Sam be rehomed with children over the age of 5 years. Do you have room in your family for this affectionate boy.

Tudor and Echo

Tudor and Echo are two of the centes long term residents, they are both 10 years of age and must be re-homed together. Tudor and Echo would be best suited to a household with older children and no other animals. For more information about Tudor and Echo please contact the centre and speak to a member of staff. Can you offer these two long termers the loving home that they so desperately deserve?

Tombola and Bric a Brac Donations Required!

Urgent Appeal for Blankets!!!

The nights are getting longer and the temperature is dropping and The South Yorkshire Animal Centre is in urgent need of blankets that we can use for dog bedding to keep them warm.

If you have any items that you would be willing to donate please bring them down to the centre any time between 11am and 4pm.

Donations of Clothes Needed!!!

As you may be aware the South Yorkshire Animal Centre runs two charity shops in the Doncaster and Rotherham area, proceeds of which all come back to the Animal Centre.
The charity shops are always wanting donations of good/clean clothes, if you have any items that you would be willing to donate please bring them along to the charity shops or contact the shops on the following;

Fosterers Needed!!!

The South Yorkshire Animal Centre are currently looking for fosterers, we need people in the Doncaster and Rotherham that would be willing to foster cats and kittens that are too young to be rehomed.
To become a fosterer you would need to have a spare room that you can use to keep the cats seperate from the rest of the household, also be able to travel to the centre for vet visits and routine checks.

Volunteer Drivers Needed!!!

The centre is currently looking for volunteer drivers who are flexible and able to volunteer at the centre Monday – Friday.
Applicants must be over 25 years of age and have a full clean driving license.
